ANJEF International School students demonstrated remarkable talent and innovation at the Regional Science and Technology Fair held in Accra last month, scooping three gold medals and one silver across the Junior and Senior categories.
Outstanding Achievements
The ANJEF Science Club entered six projects covering renewable energy, agricultural technology and environmental conservation. Their solar-powered water purification prototype — designed entirely by Year 10 students — was awarded the overall Best Innovation prize by a panel of judges from the Ghana Education Service and the University of Ghana.
Teacher Recognition
Science Department Head Mr Emmanuel Asante commented: "I am incredibly proud of every pupil who participated. Their dedication, creativity and scientific rigour reflect the very best of what ANJEF stands for. These young people are the future of Ghana."
The winning teams will represent the region at the National Science and Technology Fair later this term.
