Admissions

Admissions Policy

We are always happy to meet with prospective parents to discuss the future education of their wards. We hold termly Parent-Teacher Conferences allowing interested parents to meet with key members of staff, to be informed about the school curriculum and program and to receive a tour of the premises.

At Anjef International School, a new admissions cycle begins every September. Entry can be made at any point during the course of the year, in particular for expatriate families, and therefore we will accept applications all year round.

Procedure for Entry

 REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Fully completed application form
  2. Documentary proof of date of birth and nationality
  3. Payment of Application fee
  4. Recent report from the current school (if applicable) together with results of any standardized tests.

The school will not be able to process an application until all of the above have been provided as part of the formal application package.

Further Requirements for Entry into Grade 11 and 12:

For entry into Grade 11, students who have completed IGCSE are required to have obtained (or have predicted by their school) at least seven subject IGCSE passes at Grade C or better (including Mathematics, English and Science), three of which should be at Grade B.

Applications for entry into the second year of the A-Level and WASSCEcourses are generally not considered unless the student has already completed the first year of the A-Level Cambridge Examination Board or the first year of the WASSCE course at another school.

Procedure:

  • Enquiry by applicant parent(s)/guardian(s).
  • Fill out the Applicant Information page (Enrollment Form) and return to Anjef International School with an application fee made payable to the School.
  • The Principal determines the appropriate entry year group based on the student’s date of birth;
  • Receipt of completed Student & Parent Form.
  • Receipt of school report and any other relevant documentation and information;
  • Provision of a current passport photo
  • Review of all documentation and relevant information by the school;
  • Attendance at the New Parents Orientation Day.

Please kindly note that:

  1. If the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of spaces available, the School will consider the date of application as one of the determining criteria.
  2. The admissions committee will process complete applications only. Falsifications on applications are reason for dismissal.
  3. Anjef International School encourages applications from and admits students of any racial, ethnic or religious background. Our programs and policies are applied with equal consideration to all of its applicants and students.
